West Island Gallery was founded by Susan Westly Wren in 1997. It began as a small storefront at 27 Centre Street in Bath, Maine. Two years later it moved to 11 Centre Street and tripled its size. In 2002 Susie moved the gallery to a farm in Georgetown, using the house, barn and garden to show all kinds of art and craft.

Changes in the art business lead to showing work at a myriad of studio spaces and venues in the region.

As the Exhibit Archive shows, many shows were produced in the gallery’s tenure. This photo archive celebrates those exciting years.

Enjoy!
